For Instance I made a maze underneath Richton's tower and placed Kahzan there and made him a Demi-lich and had a bunch of his experiments left over when he was researching Lichdom.

I recently posted in another thread that the NPC ally is a great tool to possibly antagonize the party, either turning them against the party later in the game or just slaughtering them for the 'Worf' effect. And even if you use the Tarokka cards, stacking the deck is a thing!
